This is great. He must have been a public defender. It's funny that his client was facing LIFE IN JAIL.
Maybe he just couldn't come up with a good defense, so he figured getting drunk would be the best way to get a mistrial and save his client from a life in the slammer. You just don't understand the intelligence of his strategy.
